Metro Division is the fourth unlockable area of Vinyl City, which becomes available for exploration after defeating 1010. It's an extremely industrial district bustling

with arcade machines, neon lights, and various carnival rides. Several parts of the district seem to be repurposed from the times of the Border War, as artillery can be seen built into the architecture, and the district uses repurposed military robots to welcome visitors into the district.

Landmarks

Zero X One

The carnival area of the Metro Division that features Balastik Club, the 1010 Autograph Square, a roller coaster, a Ferris wheel, and a submarine themed flat ride.

Balastik Club

An indoor arcade that connects to a submarine shaped building, which is either 1010's gift shop or an informational exhibit. (Or both!)

1010 Autograph Square

A building in the Metro Division where the visitors are able to view and possibly purchase 1010's Autograph Plates.

NSR Post

A NSR-run post office with two letter boxes in front.

Camou Ice Cream

A chain of ice cream shops found in the Metro Division.

E.D.Mart

An EDM themed mart in the Metro Division.

Robo-Oke

A karaoke chain found in the Metro Division.

Sortie Cafe

A cafe chain found in the Metro Division.

Other store signs featured in this district include the Dog Sea Bookstore, Suitera, a DVD store, Skumsh Wear, Mesinrari Studio, Eurekraf, and Chicken Dance BBQ.

• Mayday: "It’s a Type-01! I wasn’t even born yet when they started making these battle-bots. Now they’ve been recycled the welcome visitors!"
• Zuke: "I guess it’s nice that they’ve repurposed these old battle-bots, but... why? Couldn’t they just recycle the parts? Never quite understood that."

Walks of Fame

• Mayday: "Wow, this is so cool! As time progressed, they look even more handsome- I mean even more human than before!"
• Zuke: "They look even more in uniform lined up like this. They seriously look all the same to me now. Just another paint job and it’s a new model all over again!"

Parabolic Microphone

• Mayday: "Hey! It’s one of those old spy gadgets! Didn’t think I’d see one lying around here with Mr. Manager being all paranoid and stuff. I wonder if it works..."
• Zuke: "It’s a parabolic mic! I haven’t seen one since I left college. Was pretty into spy movies back then."

1010 Battleship Limo

• Mayday: "Hey! It’s a 1010 limo! Are they really selling these!? I always wanted the “all-expense” treatment..."
• Zuke: "That’s one heck-of-an expensive merchandise if I ever saw one. I couldn’t even afford a wagon when I was growing up..."

Large Piping

• Mayday: "I don’t know what these pipes are for, but I remember watching NSR install these when I was just a kid. I guess they must do something..."
• Zuke: "These are drainage pipes meant to remove water from underneath the city. They’re usually quite well hidden. I guess these are just under maintenance..."

Street Water-Drainer

• Mayday: "I hate to admit it but that robot seems to really like its job. Maybe it has something to do with the 1010 music it keeps blasting."
• Zuke: "The city’s flooding problems seem to be getting worse by the year. These old robots can barely keep up... maybe it’s all a ploy to keep them in the streets blasting 1010."

(Former) Street Siren

• Mayday: "The power’s not even stable in the inner cities, but out here, they’re wasting it on promotional bots like these..."
• Zuke: "They won’t make new service bots, but they’re willing to turn these old ones into promo-bots. These things haven’t had an upgrade in over a decade."

Autograph Plates

• Mayday: "OMG! It’s an authentic 1010 Autograph Plate! With the certificate of authenticity! I mean, not that I’m interested or anything. But, you know, would be cool to have one. Or two."
• Zuke: "Better not let May see this. She won’t admit it, but I’m pretty sure she has a thing for 1010."

Letters Home

• Mayday: "*reads letters* Who's Deeyus? Can robot soldiers get married?! It doesn't see so sure by the end of it..."
• Zuke: "They look like letters home by a Type-4. They were given background memories to enhance their battlefield efficiency. This can't be good."

Trivia

• When close to the flat ride within Zero X One, a calliope cover of vs. 1010 can be heard. Calliopes are commonly used in what people refer to as carnival music.
• Balastik Club is named after "Ballistics", the field of science concerned with the launching, flight behavior and impact effects of projectiles, especially ranged weapon munitions such as bullets, unguided bombs, rockets or the like.
• Sortie Cafe is named after an attack made by troops coming out from a position of defense.
